Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity

Are you willing to give up your voice for a day for those who will never have a voice?

Since January 22, 1973 over 50,000,000 babies have had their voices silenced through surgical abortion in this nation alone.

Over 4,000 children have their lives taken each day in the name of choice.

On October 23, people from all over this nation will give up their voices for a day in solidarity for these children. Red arm bands and duct tape will identify them as taking part in the Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity. They will carry fliers explaining why they are silent and educate others about the plight of the innocent children we are losing every day.

Rebelution Tour 2007 Over

This past weekend was the last stop for the Rebelution Tour 2007. The turnout for the conference was amazing, turning out with over 2,000 young people and their parents! I (Jonathan) atteded the conference with some relatives and friends and had a very good time of learning and meeting other young people with similar beliefs and values I hold.

The Rebelution will be making .mp3 audio tracks available of the sessions. For those of you who were unable to make it to the conferences I would strongly recommend purchasing these .mp3's!

Prayer Alert: Bridge Collapse

A tradgedy has occured here in the city where I live.
Please pray for those involved in the 35W bridge collapse in Minneapolis about an hour and a half ago!

Freedom Isn't Free
I watched the flag pass by one day.

It fluttered in the breeze

A young soldier saluted it, and then

He stood at ease.

I looked at him in uniform

So young, so tall, so proud

With hair cut square and eyes alert

He'd stand out in any crowd.

I thought how many men like him

Had fallen through the years.

How many died on foreign soil?

How many mothers' tears?

How many Pilots' planes shot down?

How many foxholes were soldiers' graves?

No Freedom isn't free

I heard the sound of taps one night,

When everything was still.

I listened to the bugler play

And felt a sudden chill.

I wondered just how many times

That taps had meant "Amen"

When a flag had draped a coffin

of a brother or a friend.

I thought of all the children,

Of the mothers and the wives,

Of fathers, sons and husbands

With interrupted lives.

I thought about a graveyard at the

Afraid to Share Your Faith?

Afraid to share your faith? Or is it just excuses? Matthew 28:19-20 says, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Purpose

The Change:

All of us as Christians are like gold in the process of being refined. All have the potential of shining for Him! But, as we are humans, our quality is tarnished, just like unrefined gold. Through our walk with Him we are slowly refined and polished as he changes and removes the human impurities of our lives.

2 Corinthians 3:18 "So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image."

The Change is geared toward the next generation…(but hopefully can be an encouragement to all…young and old!)…The next generation will bring the leaders of tomorrow. Not just leaders of our government, but leaders of our churches, and our businesses, and our communities!

The purpose of The Change is to stimulate and promote thought on what we believe and why we believe.

I hope The Change can be a place of good discussion. Where the readers can challenge and encourage each other in doing what’s right even if it’s hard!

To share with the readers good thought provoking articles. Also to encourage readers to dig deeper and to look for principles in the Scriptures that they can apply to their own life.
